If you’re one of those people who likes to jump out of bed at the last minute, dress in 15 and grab breakfast in two, you may want to revise your morning schedule for this week. From Nov. 12 until Nov. 15, electrical crews will be working on Highway 178 creating Stopped Traffic.
We hate that Bakersfield Mazda has to be the bearer of bad news, but we thought it best to give you a warning: You may want to wake up a few minutes earlier to account for traffic delays.
Construction workers are expected to manually stop and direct traffic as a temporary power line is hung across the highway near City in the Hills.
Crews will be working diligently between 6:00 am and 4:00 pm.
If you know of an alternate route for your commute, more power to you. Maybe you’ll get to stay in bed until 7:29 am after all and avoid the Stopped Traffic.
